Great food, food to go works wonderfully, great team, warm, very accommodating

This rating only applies to the service in the restaurant. We wanted to eat in the restaurant and were received quite rude and felt undesirable. Sometimes it seemed absurd to want to eat there. In my opinion, not a friendly and recommendable way of dealing with guests.

Food tastes good, nice atmosphere

We had a great week in this excellent hotel. From the first to the last minute, friendly and courteous service. The breakfast and the small evening menu were very good. Praise and greetings to the entire workforce.

We were here again, this time in a very nice and large apartment. The overall ambience is beautiful, you can walk or cycle on the Elbe and then enjoy the wonderfully delicious food. That the people who like to take care of you do is clearly noticeable!

Very friendly and attentive care. The apartment was beautifully decorated, bright, friendly and clean. The food tasted very good, also for vegetarians. Gluten-free bread was provided for the very good breakfast. Idyllically located directly on the Elbe dike, you could enjoy the sunset in the evening or jogging in the morning with storks, cows, etc. and wonderful trees, flowering meadows and peace and quiet.

I visited the restaurant, the service was very friendly, the food was excellent and quickly on the table.

Very friendly atmosphere, very nice and courteous service, very good cuisine, lovingly furnished large rooms, the sauna for 2: great! We have been here for the third time and every time it is a real pleasure!

It wasn't our hotel It did not fit Was too spacey and arrogant for us. For people with these interests, it is the right hotel and service. Maybe accepting opinions from other guests, that is also part of "your" movement, tolerance

A very welcoming restaurant. We stopped there because of a sign on the side of the road, endowed with a little hunger and thirst. The friendly service made it possible that, despite the wedding and various other family celebrations over the weekend, we still got a place. I'll keep it short: great food, cool drinks; and everything quickly with the guest. Our excursion could continue relaxed.

Arrive and unwind ... this is the place #Hotel Alter Hof Am Elbdeich ... you come as a guest and goes as a friend ... who wants to bring his balance for body, mind and soul back in line is here exactly right ... the staff always has a smile on their face, the kitchen is absolutely authentic and super healthy, everything freshly prepared and the raw materials are always seasonally coordinated from the region ... and the icing on the cake are the body treatments #massage, #cosmetics or #Sauna you do not want to leave this place anymore. We were on our way home from Center Park and hungry. We stopped to feed. So 1. Very nice location, you can book nice rooms and also nice walk on the dike. Food is a little more expensive but what you get there is absolutely awesome, very delicious, fantastically prepared and an absolute treat. I have not eaten such a good and delicious schnitzel for a long time. The house is run by very nice and nice girls, everything is freshly prepared. Really it was so tasty !!!!! In the summer it is probably even more beautiful when everything is blooming. It is definitely worth a motorbike tour, very nice route there.

We have become aware of our family on the old yard at the Elbe dike and have a short hand booked a apartment (number 4). Since we basically rely blindly on the recommendation, we drove there without any prior information. The journey is coming over Dömitz already really nice, because you have many avenues and can already guess a bit, that you really have peace. The old farm is located directly on the small road and therefore can not be missed. If you book the large holiday home, you must continue driving and right before the sign "Kietz" right and a piece below the dike long. The Hoft is really lovingly restored, we immediately liked it very much. With a few steps you are on the dike and can see the Elbe and Elbaue. That's really great. The apartment was divided into 2 floors. Downstairs a living room and a kitchen, as well as the bathroom and upstairs two bedrooms. The apartment was nicely decorated and there was everything needed as in the time there. Breakfast and dinner we have, in pure comfort in the restaurant on site. The breakfast was delicious and there was everything you could expect from the bank. Very tasty rolls and a lot of jams and so on. The dinner is absolutely to be recommended. There is a small map, but it is very thoughtful and is very limited to seasonal and available products. I thought that was very good. Basically, the kitchen is really good and the cook (M ....) has made us very happy. From the old farm, you can do a lot of things, but we have not actually done. We walked a lot and enjoyed the beautiful nature right outside the door. You can also make great bike rides there and Dömitz is also very nice. We have in any case felt very comfortable and the two owners are very friendly and easy going. In any case, this was not our last stay. Last but not least, there is a small point of criticism that I do not want to leave unmentioned, but which really does not really matter. There were two "weird" experiences with an employee in the yard who confronted us in a somewhat unfriendly and not very motivated way. That was apparently very daytime dependent and really the only thing I found a pity, otherwise the staff through the bank were great.
